Son's Guadalupe is our riverfront property on the Guadalupe River in New Braunfels, Texas — the most iconic tubing river in the state, and only 35 minutes from San Antonio. The property sits below the third tube chute, where the water runs clear, cypress trees lean over the bank, and the current is fast enough to be fun without being intimidating. It's the easiest way to experience the Guadalupe the way locals do: with a private spot to come back to between floats.

Tubing the Guadalupe

Your day visit comes with tube use for the river run that starts and ends right at the property — no shuttle needed. Most groups float for 90 minutes to two hours per lap and run two or three laps over the course of the day. River flow is dam-released and varies by season; we update guests on current conditions at check-in so you know what to expect before you push off.

Tips for Booking

Saturdays in June, July, and August book out two to three weeks in advance, and major holiday weekends (Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day) typically sell out a month early. Weekdays — especially Mondays through Wednesdays — are noticeably quieter and a better value if you'd rather avoid the weekend energy. Outside food and non-glass drinks are welcome, and the property is family-friendly, with shallow eddies near the bank that work well for younger kids.
